Senior Specialist Regulatory

As a Senior Specialist – Regulatory, you will play a crucial role in shaping Ooredoo’s regulatory strategy. You will be responsible for advising the business on regulatory matters, contributing to policy formulation, and representing Ooredoo with regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and international regulations
• Policy Formulation: Contribute to the development and implementation of regulatory policies
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities and industry stakeholders
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate regulatory risks
• Regulatory Strategy: Assist in developing and implementing Ooredoo’s regulatory strategy
• Regulatory Reporting: Oversee the timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports
• Regulatory Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of regulatory impacts on the business
• Policy and Procedure Development: Develop and maintain relevant policies and procedures
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements

Requirement

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in a regulatory environment, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of telecommunications regulations, particularly in Oman.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems.
