Job Purpose:

To ensure that the assigned business goals are achieved for the region and excellent customer service is provided with a focus will be on concentrated sales and cross selling of products, business development, efficient management of branches and achieving the profitability targets keeping in view the compliance and audit requirements. Maintain very good relationship with Government departments and HNW customers.

Key Tasks and Duties:

  • Manage the activities of assigned personnel in the region assigned and performs Managerial duties and exercises financial authority at the level established by management.
  • Achieve business and profitability targets for the region
  • Play active role in implementation of business overall strategy and increase market share
  • Create an effective sales culture in branches and increase market share
  • Improve the level of customer service in branches
  • Ensure timely and effective implementation of procedures and policies issued by HO divisions
  • Streamline procedures and policies to increase efficiency
  • Effective use of resources including human resources. Increase staff productivity
  • Adhere to credit, compliance and audit requirements
  • Communicate with and train staff on new products
  • Achieve goals set for low cost deposits, loans, credit cards and income accounts

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with specialization in banking, finance or management

Experience:

Minimum 8 years in core banking and sales and distribution management with a broad and in-depth experience:

• Excellent reporting skills

• Very good leadership skills

• Good coaching skills

• Good change management skills

• Excellent business development skills.

• Good office technology skills

• Excellent written and spoken English
