Odoo ERP Developer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Odoo ERP Developer located in Masqaţ, Oman. The Odoo ERP Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining ERP software systems, analyzing and improving business processes, and managing databases related to enterprise resource planning.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree is a plus (but not mandatory).

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python
• Strong knowledge of Odoo framework (Odoo 10+ to current versions).
• Experience in PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, and QWeb templating.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and MVC architecture.
• Familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu OS environments.

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years
• Experience in developing custom Odoo modules and modifying existing ones.
• Integration experience with third-party apps/APIs is a big plus.

Job Responsibilities :-

1.Module Development & Customization:

• Design and develop new Odoo modules.
• Customize existing Odoo modules based on business needs.

2.System Integration:

• Develop APIs and connect Odoo with third-party systems (e.g., payment gateways, e-commerce platforms, etc.).

3.Troubleshooting & Bug Fixes:

• Identify, debug, and resolve functional and performance issues in Odoo modules.

4.Technical Documentation:

• Write and maintain clear technical documentation for developed modules and system configurations.

5.Client Support & Implementation:

• Assist in client onboarding, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Provide technical solutions based on client requirements.

6.Database Management:

• Manage PostgreSQL databases used by Odoo.
• Perform backups, migrations, and optimization.

6.User Training & Support:

• Provide support and training to end-users regarding new functionalities and modules.
